Drive by Tverskaya Street, Manezhnaya square, Ohotny Riad, Bolshoy theatre, Lubianka square and Kropotkinskaya embankments (no entrances). After city tour, transfer back to hotel. Behind medieval walls, you will discover the oldest square of Moscow and amazing cathedrals where Russian tsars used to get married, crowned and buried. You will see the largest cannon and church bell in the world. 8 hundred years of Russian history in one place! Next, Moscow metro often called an underground palace. "They used to have palaces for kings, we are going to build palaces for the people!" said one of the main architects of the Soviet subway. You will see the most beautiful metro stations in Moscow built under Stalin and reveal the fascinating secrets hidden underground. We will end our excursion walking down the Arbat street. Arbat street is a unique phenomenon both for Moscow and for the whole Russia. It became a pedestrian street after its reconstruction in 1986 and attracts hundreds and thousands of tourists from all over the world every year. The Arbat District was once a location where craftsmen set up shop, and the Arbat’s side streets show evidence of their past with names that describe various trades or products, like Carpenters, Bread, or Silver . Moscow and St Petersburg are about 800 km away from each other and it’s one of the most popular train routes in Russia. Lunch on board own arrangement. Upon arrival in St. Petersburg proceed to guided city tour.
