You can continue your exploration of St. Petersburg on your own or opt for Optional Tour - St. Petersburg City Tour & Peterhof (Great Palace + Park + Hydrofoil Round trip) . After breakfast, begin your Optional Tour. During this city tour we will see Nevsky prospect, Palace Square, Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood and Saint Isaac’s Cathedral (no entrances), visit the Spit of Vasilyevsky Island, walk down the Neva embankment, visit Kazan Cathedral and Peter and Paul fortress. Peter and Paul Fortress is the original citadel of St. Petersburg, Russia, founded by Peter the Great in 1703. The first structure to be built in St. Petersburg, and thus the birthplace of the city, it never served its intended defensive function. Instead it has had a rich, hugely varied, and sometimes sinister history as a military base, a home of government departments, the burial ground of the Russian Imperial family and a forbidding jail that held some of Russia’s most prominent political prisoners. Lunch at the City Center (on pax account). After lunch, visit the imperial palaces and gardens of Peterhof, founded in 1710 as the country residence of the Russian czars. Get a better appreciation for life in Russia before the revolution on a group tour of the buildings and park. Get in the hydrofoil and enjoy a ride through the Gulf of Finland. Enter the Grand Place, designed as the centerpiece of Peter the Great’s personal Versailles complex. Be amazed by the lavish interiors, and learn how they had to be almost entirely reconstructed after World War II. Proceed to the Lower Gardens and stroll around the fountains and other features. Inspired by the formal French gardens of the 17th century, highlights of the elegant grounds include the Grand Cascade and the Chess Mountain, tiled like a chess board. After tour, transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in St. Petersburg.

You can explore the city till the pick up for your return flight or opt for Moscow Guided City Tour. proceed to Panoramic Moscow City Tour with stops at the most famous sights: Red Square, St. Basil Cathedral, Christ the Savior Cathedral, GUM department store, Poklonnaya Hill, New Maiden Convent. Drive by Tverskaya Street, Manezhnaya square, Ohotny Riad, Bolshoy theatre, Lubianka square and Kropotkinskaya embankments (no entrances). We will end our excursion walking down the Arbat street. Arbat street is a unique phenomenon both for Moscow and for the whole Russia. It became a pedestrian street after its reconstruction in 1986 and attracts hundreds and thousands of tourists from all over the world every year. The Arbat District was once a location where craftsmen set up shop, and the Arbat’s side streets show evidence of their past with names that describe various trades or products, like Carpenters, Bread, or Silver.
