Welcome your last morning in Bali with a piping hot breakfast spread. Check out of your hotel in the standard time 12:00 noon and get ready for a last minute super exciting plan ahead! It’s the Uluwatu Temple. Bali is an exclusively Hindu community and this temple is a prime example of a Balinese Hindu Sea Temple (Pura Segara). It is dedicated to Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa in his manifestation as Rudra. It is built at the edge of a 70 meter-high boulder projecting into the sea. Old folklore suggests that this boulder is part of Dewi Danu’s sailing ship which was petrified and turned to stone. One of the most interesting things about it as well is the fact that it is believed that Dang Hyang Nirartha attained moksha (liberation) in this temple, at an event locally known as ngeluhur (ascension). Most importantly, take this chance to immerse yourself into an impressive spiritual journey before you proceed to the airport for your return flight home.
